All baptized Catholics living a Christian lifestyle can answer the call to ministries that reflect  their gifts and charisms.  It is our hope that all parishioners will accept their call from God to share their time, talents, and treasures with the Christian community and serve the Body of Christ.

In scheduling lay liturgical ministers, we attempt to match your service with the Mass that you normally attend and with other family members who may be serving in our weekend and Holy Day liturgies.

Other parish ministries that are always in need of helpers are also listed here.   If you would like to share in any of these ministries, please contact the Parish Office.

EUCHARISTIC  MINISTER
"He said to them, in reply, "Give them some food yourselves."
MK 6:34

Often Catholics say that they are not worthy to distribute the Eucharist in the body and blood of Christ, which is true.  None of us is truly worthy, priest, deacon, or lay person, but we are still called to serve God and the Body of Christ in humility.  It is God who calls us to serve one another even in our unworthiness.  If we are living a Christian lifestyle and not in mortal sin, we may answer the call to be  Eucharistic Ministers.

All Confirmed Catholics from the age of 16 and older who are living a Christian lifestyle are welcome to serve in this ministry.

LECTOR
"Proclaim the good news"

The call to proclaim the Word of God is a beautiful way to share the scriptures. Proclaiming the scriptures carefully and prayerfully helps those celebrating the Eucharist recognize that God has been with us from the beginning, is with us now, and will be with us for all time.

All Confirmed Catholics from the age of 16 and older who are living a Christian lifestyle are welcome to serve in this ministry.

CHOIR
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."

Singers and musicians of all ages are invited to share in this beautiful ministry that enhances the liturgy and gives glory to God.  Using both contemporary and traditional hymnody, we have music at all weekend and Holy Day liturgies in accordance with the call to truly "celebrate" the Eucharist and to join in the songs of the angels at the altar of God.

USHER
A joyful welcome to all who come to celebrate the Eucharist is the true mark of a Christian community.  Ushers assist in directing the liturgy, in collecting the gifts of the faithful, and in distributing the weekly bulletins that keep parishioners aware of the activities of the Church.  This ministry is open to all Confirmed Catholics who are over the age of sixteen.

"I was sick and you visited me"

Visiting the Sick has always been part of the Christian call to service.  Do you have some time to bring the Eucharist and the scriptures to the homebound or to those in nursing homes?
